Thomas
Landry
Thomas
J. Landry grew up in New England and graduated
from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture
at The University of Massachusetts. After college
he moved to Texas to pursue a career in professional
golf. In 1986 Mr. Landry was introduced to
the staffing industry, starting a 20 year fascination.
During his career, Mr. Landry has served
as a Sales Consultant, Branch Manager, Regional
Manager and National Sales Manager before
starting his own staffing business in 1992.
Prior to opening his business, Mr. Landry
initiated several innovations in the Industrial
segment of the staffing industry that are
widely accepted as best practices today,
including holiday and vacation pay, three
day hire process, 100% pre-employment drug
screening and pre-hire background checks.
Each of these staffing processes revolutionized
the traditional contingent workforce model,
elevating the quality of temporary
employee and the level of staffing service
provided.
More recently, Mr. Landry successfully organized
the buyout of the Tandem Staffing franchise
system, reorganized the group and co-founded
the Allegiance Staffing brand. Today, Allegiance
Staffing is widely recognized as one of the
leaders in the contingency workforce space,
due in large part to Mr. Landry's incessant
focus on customer satisfaction and agency
performance efficiency.
Mr. Landry has served on the Board of Directors
for the Texas Association of Staffing for
over ten years. In that role he has helped
the association battle legislation that could
potentially harm both the staffing industry
and the end user client.
True to his passion for customer satisfaction,
the formation of Accelerator Consulting Group
is driven by his desire to help satisfy the
unfulfilled client needs and to change the
staffing industry by holding it accountable
for staffing performance.
